2016年1月8日，FCC發(fā)布新的測試指導文件KDB789033 D02 General U-NII Test Procedures New Rules v01r01 。該標準涉及如下變更
1、 新設備或已授權設備增加Part 15 E頻段需滿(mǎn)足新規則的要求。規則允許特定的U-NII-3 Band (5725 - 5850 MHz)設備按照§ 15.247進(jìn)行認證；
2、 設備改型（增加新的U-NII頻段到已按舊規則授權的產(chǎn)品除外），至2016年6月1日仍可使用舊規則；
3、 2016年6月2日起，設備改型不允許按舊規則進(jìn)行認證測試，必須滿(mǎn)足新規則要求；
4、 部分或全部按照舊規則認證的設備在2016年6月2日起禁止市場(chǎng)銷(xiāo)售，除非所有頻段滿(mǎn)足新規則的要求；
5、 基于舊規則認證的設備改型需使用指導文件KDB789033 D01 General UNII Test Procedures Old Rules；
6、 新設備認證和基于新規則認證的設備改型需使用指導文件KDB789033 D02 General UNII Test Procedures New Rules,包括軟件安全要求的指導文件 594280 D02 U-NII Device Security和相關(guān)程序文件KDB905462;

? All new devices or already approved devices seeking to add operations under Part 15 E must meet the requirements of the new rules. The rules permit exception for certain devices operating in the U-NII-3 Band (5725 - 5850 MHz) under § 15.247. See KDB Publication 558074 for more information for devices operating under § 15.247.
? Permissive changes, except to add operation in a new U-NII band to already approved devices under the Old Rules may be made until June 1, 2016 using the Old Rules.
? Starting June 2, 2016, permissive changes will not be permitted for devices approved under the ?Old Rules?, unless they meet the requirements of the New Rules.
? All devices approved partially or completely under the Old Rules cannot be marketed starting June 2, 2016 unless they meet the requirements of the ?New Rules? in all the bands of operation.
? Permissive change applications for devices based on the Old Rules must use the guidance provided in attachment 789033 D01 General UNII Test Procedures Old Rules below.
? Applications for new devices and permissive change applications for devices for approval under the New Rules must apply all the appropriate test procedures for such devices as described in in attachment 789033 D02 General UNII Test Procedures New Rules below, including software security requirements in KDB Publication 594280 attachment 594280 D02 U-NII Device Security and the appropriate procedures from KDB Publication 905462.
